Grading System
Grade Point Average (GPA): The GPA is the total quality points earned divided by the total number of attempted credits. The resulting number is rounded off to three decimal places. Both weighted and unweighted GPAs are calculated and reported.
Grade point averages (GPAs) are based on the following quality point scale:
| Letter Grade | Academic | Honors | AP |
| A | 4 | 5 | 6 |
| B | 3 | 4 | 5 |
| C | 2 | 3 | 4 |
| D | 1 | 2 | 3 |
| F | 0 | 0 | 0 |
College or University non-remedial courses and community college courses approved by the university system for college transfer receive the same quality points as AP courses.
Class rank: Each student is ranked within their class from the highest GPA to the lowest. A class rank of 65/350 represents the sixty-fifth highest GPA in a class of 350.

Graduating seniors who have excelled academically are recognized for their achievement. Class rank for senior honors is calculated through the first term of the senior year.
