Fine Arts

"Southeast Raleigh's fine arts department not only nurtures each student's individual style, but also encourages them to explore new fields. Over the past four years, I have watched myself grow as an artist and come to know and love the people that I work with as they let me grow as a person." -Danielle P.

The Fine Arts department is centered on fostering a creative environment in which students can express themselves and flourish. With courses dedicated to exploring both history and method, students absorb a variety of techniques and experiences.

The department partners with some of the nation's most competitive colleges plus local art centers such as Artspace and Visual Art Exchange give students an edge upon graduation. High technology and high creativity come together to offer students not just more education, but a better and more comprehension education that's focused upon careers in the digital arts. In addition, it is affiliated with the Digital Arts CFLC and the National Art Honor Society.
