Transfers/Withdrawals
Transfers are defined as:
- A student who has moved to another school (W 1)
- Level changes made after the first two weeks of school
- Schedule changes with no penalty as determined by an appropriate administrator
Grades:
- Grades are maintained throughout the year on transferred students
- Letter grades accompanying a T must be posted for the quarter term in which the transfer takes place
and also in the corresponding final mark. - A course that is a year in length requires a transfer grade in the appropriate quarter term and also in the final mark of the term
Withdrawals are defined as:
- Dropouts (W 2)
- Schedule changes after the initial waiver period unless otherwise instructed by an appropriate administrator
Grades:
- Withdrawal grades are maintained permanently
- A letter grade/numerical grade must accompany a W for the quarter term mark. The final mark must have a P or F accompany the W.
- A course, which is a term in length, requires a withdrawal grade in the appropriate quarter term and also in the final mark of the term.
