Policies -Tests

Tests are often a significant component of a course. If a student has a conflict or concern regarding the scheduling of his/her tests, it is the student's responsibility to address the teacher or teachers prior to the testing day. The teacher and student will work together to settle the conflict or concern. The resolution of the matter shall be conducted in a timely and fair manner.

Test Re-Take Policy

Students may re-take a test (excluding quizzes, mid-terms, and teacher-made final exams) given all of the following provisions:

1. The student failed the test.
2. The student initiates the intent to re-take the test.
3. The student completes the required teacher requested steps to re-take the test. These steps may include, but are not limited to, required tutorial assistance, required test corrections, or required review work.
4. The student must re-take the test within the time period specified by the teacher.
5. The student may receive a maximum score of 70, but no lower than the original test score.
6. Students are limited to one re-take attempt per test.
