Tests
Major tests are often a significant component of a course. If a student has a conflict or concern regarding the scheduling of his/her tests, it is the student's responsibility to address the teacher or teachers prior to the testing day. The teacher and student will work together to settle the conflict or concern. The resolution of the matter shall be conducted in a timely and fair manner.
Test Re-Take Policy
Students may re-take a test given the following provisions:
- The student failed the test.
- The student initiates the intent to re-take test.
- The student completes the required teacher requested steps to re-take the test. These steps may include, but are not limited to, required after-school assistance, required test corrections, or required review work.
- The student must re-take the test within the time period specified by the teacher.
- The score of the original test and the re-take are averaged and the average replaces the original test score.
