Phones

Students may use the pay phones for personal calls before or after school. Calls are limited to three minutes in order to allow others the opportunity to use the telephone.

Cell phones, in accordance with WCPSS Board Policy , must be turned off and out of sight during the school day. Visible cell phones will be confiscated.

Messages/Deliveries

Classes will not be interrupted to notify students of messages/deliveries unless related to an emergency situation. Flowers, baloons and other gifts will not be accepted by school personnel and should not be delivered to a classroom by parents.

Lockers

Lockers are assigned by Academic Coaches and recorded in SAM. The database provides a record of the students, their locker number, and lock combination.

• Students who lose their lock must pay $5.00 to obtain a new one (can be purchased in the main office). Non-school locks are not permitted.
• Your AC can access your combination should you forget.
• Locks that are misplaced can be traced back to the student by the serial number on the lock.
• All lockers will have locks placed on them even if they are not being used.

Textbooks

Teachers distribute books to the students, collect books and/or fees covering loss or damage, provide receipts to the student, and inventory books at the end of the year.

Students who lose or damage textbooks are charged a fee to cover damaages or replacement. . Teachers will record fees in SAM.
