Each teacher will state in the course overview the weight given various assessments in determining the course grade.
These assessments may include homework, tests, projects, participation, presentations, notebooks, etc.
Teachers will make clear the criteria used in evaluating each assignment. Assignments will be evaluated and the result shared with students. Homework may not count for more than 15%of a student's grade in any marking period (Board Policy 5510). Exams count as 20% of the final grade except in EOC courses where the exam carries a weight of 25% of the final grade.
