Sophomore class t-shirts will go on sale beginning Tuesday, September 7th and last through Friday, September 17th during AC. Design, pricing/combo pkg. info will be issued in AC. Cash or Money order ONLY. See Ms. Webb in 1711 if you have questions.

SERA is looking for prospective students to participate in their 3-part teen programs: Youth Entrepreneurial, Sigma Beta, Jewels and Gems. Stop by the CDC on September 7 during smart lunch.

Students interested in learning about careers in the US Navy are invited to a special presentation on Wednesday, September 8 during smart lunch.

The SRMHS PTSA will be selling t-shirts($10.00) this Friday. We will also take pre-orders for sweatshirts ($25) and long sleeve tees ($15). Show your Bulldog Pride at home and away games. Get your t-shirt today!

Senior Dues are now being accepted by your AC teacher. Dues are $25 until fall break. After fall break the dues will go to $40. Cash or money order only

Jostens will have a make-up day for class rings and senior orders on Friday September 10th during SMART Lunch. A $60 deposit is required.

Students applying for the Robodogs FIRST Robotics Team, applications are due this Friday by 3pm to Mr. Kemp's office, room 505A.

Joining the Team

The Robodogs are currently accepting new membership applications for the 2010-2011 season. Any students interested in becoming part of the team must fill out the application. All applications must be turned in no later than Friday, September 3rd. Applicants turning in completed applications by Friday, August 20th will receive priority in the selection process and be given early notification.

2010-08-27:: Principal's Message

On Monday, August 30, Jostens will be at our school during lunch to take class ring orders. There will be a parent night on Monday from 5:30-7:00 for an opportunity to order with parents. A $60 deposit is required. Also during the parent night, senior parents and students may place orders for caps, gowns, announcements, and other senior products. On August 31, Jostens will be selling senior graduation products during lunch. A $60 deposit is also required.

Fall pictures are scheduled to be taken on Tuesday, August 31. All students are expected to take pictures.

Our Business Alliance & PTSA will sponsor an SAT prep workshop on 8/31 & 9/1 from 6-9 pm in the CDC. Students will learn test taking strategies on the 31^st and take a practice test on the next night. The cost is $30. Contact Ms Frazier: 856-2834 for more information.

Federal law 107-110 requires schools to provide recruiters from the military and institutions of higher education, upon request, with the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of enrolled students. Please note “Release of Information to Military Recruiters and Institutions of Higher Education” in the front of the WCPSS Student/Parent Handbook. Any parent, guardian, or eligible student who does not wish to have directory information released must notify the school in writing the first 20 days of the school year. The release form may be found on our school’s website (www.srhs.net) under the news and articles section.

Federal law 107-110 requires schools to provide recruiters from the military and institutions of higher education, upon request, with the name, address, and telephone number of enrolled students. It is our policy to release this requested information ONLY regarding Juniors and Seniors.

Any parent, guardian, or eligible student (18 years of age) who does not wish to have this directory information released MUST complete the "Opt Out" form and return to Ms. Frazier via email or fax to 919.856.2827 within the first 20 days of school.
